Banking RPPS

The RPPS category allows users to enter the necessary information for sending RPPS proposal files. Entering this information puts all RPPS proposals into one file (RPPS and non RPPS payment creditors).

 

Company Name - Specifies the company name included in the RPPS file. If this field is left blank the name included in the RPPS file is the name entered in the Company Name field in the Company Information section.

RPPS ABA - A unique number identifying the financial institution.

Immediate Origin - A unique number identifying the originating financial institution. Provided by MasterCard or the agency’s concentrator.

Originator ID - Assigned by MasterCard or the agency’s concentrator.

Phone Number - When sending proposals using RPPS, the softwar will automatically dial the number entered in the dial up field and send the file. If a number is not entered or the computer is not equipped with a modem, it is necessary to send the files as an attachment or upload via a website.

Proposal Output File - Specifies the path and filename for the Proposal Output File.

Updates Output File - Specifies the path and filename for the Account Updates Output File.

 

Output File Variables: {date}, {time}, and {batchid} can be used in the file name.

Example: PROP-{date}-{time}.txt

Populate the reserved field #3 in the RPPS entry detail record with the client id - If select, the client id will be entered in the reserved field #3 in the RPPS file.

Add Non-DMP debt to FBC section of electronic proposals - If selected NON-Qual Debt will be included in the FBC section of an electronic proposals. Also, the Debt to Income Ratio will also include Non-Qual Debt in the lead and client Financials Tab. The financials tab will also display "Payments to Non-DMP" and those amounts will be included in the total.

Force update of Minimum Accepted by Creditor field when a CDA is processed that does not have a matching original Trace Number - If selected the Trace Number in the CDA does not need to match the Original Trace Number of the Proposal sent to update the Minimum Accepted field.

Update Account Status only - If selected, when resolving CDR’s (received rejected proposals) or CDA’s (received accepted proposals), only the account status of each account is updated. If a new proposed monthly payment or updates in the account number or balance are included in the proposal, these are not automatically modified for the accounts.

Counter Proposal Update Default Payment - If selected, the Default Payment for the account will automatically be updated to the Counter Proposal Amount. (This conflicts with the Update Account Status only option and both options can not be selected.

Skip Task Creation When Importing Account Updates if Client is Inactive - If selected, when an RPPS Return file is imported Tasks will not be created if the client for that account is in an inactive type client status.

Skip updates of the Balance when the CDV balance is zero - If selected, RPPS account updates will not update the balance if the balance is zero but they items will be marked as completed.

Show CSP Hardship Levels - Enables the CSP Feature

Use Proposal Allowance for Increases - Enables the proposal allowance feature when updating a RECV CDR with an IP reject code or CDV where the increased balance would increase the payment.

Proposal Allowance for Increases - Specifies a formula to be used as a default amount for the Proposal Allowance. {LeadClientID} can be used as a variable.

RPPS Return File Import Folder Path - Indicates the network shared folder for the downloaded RPPS files to import using the Task Scheduler

RPPS Return Custom Post SP - Indicates the name of the Stored Procedure to run after the Task Scheduler job imports the RPPS File and runs the updates on the records. Company specific business logic would be added here. The SP should have one parameter of FileID and use that parameter throughout to limit any updates to just those ClientCredAction records.

RPPS Biller/Mask File Import Folder - Indicates the path where the Task Scheduler can find the biller directory to import

RPPS Biller Update Accept/Reject Fields - Indicates if the Accepts and Rejects fields for Credit Counseling are updated when the file is being imported by the Task Scheduler

Account Updates Automation: Max Days between CDP and CDN - when automating the batching of account updates CDN will release if the proposal was last sent within the number of days as long as a new proposal is not pending to be sent

Proposal Automation: Only Include RPPS - When proposal automation is running this would only put RPPS proposals in the batch leaving the paper and fax to be batched manually

FS Rebate Task Category - identifies the task categoryid to be use for Creditor Tasks to indicate the FS rebatch in the RPPS file.
