Account Status

The Account Status category allows the user to setup and define statuses that can be applied to individual client accounts.

 

Account Status - The name or title that identifies the status of the account. The following are defaulted account statuses:

Closed - If selected, indicates the status is used for closed accounts.

Linked Document Set - The combo box is populated with buttons created through the Button Setup screen. This allows specific documents to print when a specific account status is selected on the Account Details screen.

Status Letter - A letter that displays in the Lead and Client Screens.

Abbreviation - Abbreviated word for the status displayed in the Lead and Client Screens.

Only Fee Accounts - The account statuses with this option selected will only show up for AR fee accounts, not for regular creditor accounts.

Is Settled - If selected, indicates the status to be used when a user clicks PROCESS SETTLEMENT in the Settlement Offer Screen.

Allow Proposal Auto Re-send - Accounts in these statuses will be available when automatically re-sending proposals.

Back Color - Indicates the color to show on the Account List for a Lead or Client when the account is assigned to that status.

Is Withdrawn - Indicates the status is used for withdrawing accounts in the collection edition

Is Resolved - Indicates the status to be used when marking an account as resolved in the collection edition

 

An account can not be ‘Closed’ or ‘Is Settled’ at the same time, as these two options are mutually exclusive.

Only Open statuses will display as choices on the Lead Side.
