From the Search screen, users can look for tasks by entering criteria that will generate a list of matching tasks. Users can use only one criteria field or a combination of criteria to filter the list of tasks to be displayed.
Using the Task Search Screen
Click Search Tasks from the toolbar
Enter information you wish to search by. Using the wildcard ( * ) will broaden your search results. You can search by any and all of the fields.
Select the checkbox for the search items you wish to display in your search results
Task Number - Type the task number of the task you are searching for. You can type multiple task numbers separated by commas to search for multiple tasks at once. 26019
Assigned To - Select the user to whom the task is currently assigned.
Department - Select the department to which the task is currently assigned.
Status - Select the current status of the task you are searching for. Select None, Open or Closed from the options to further filter your search.
Client - Select for the lead or client to whom the task is related.
Account Number - Select for the account number to which the task is related. Hold CTRL while selecting multiple accounts.
Creditor Name - This field is automatically filled in when an account number is selected.
Creditor Group - Select the creditor group for which the task is related.
Category - Select the task category.
Subcategory - Select the task sub category.
Summary - Enter a keyword or phrase from the task’s summary field to search on.
Entered By - Select the user who originally created the task.
Entered On Date Options - Manually enter date ranges or use predefined date range options to filter by the date a task was created.
Closed By - Select the user who closed the task.
Closed On Date Options - Manually enter date ranges or use predefined date range options to filter by the date a task was closed.
Start Task Distribution - Will run the Task Distribution Process
In actions you can make changes to the tasks selected. To select multiple tasks hold CTRL while selecting the row indicators.
Change Task Status – this will allow you to change the status for all tasks selected in your results
Assign To User - Assigns selected tasks to the User and Department selected. If either are left blank the information will be updated to nothing.
Distribute Automatically - Uses Issue Distribution process to assign selected Issues 21644
Users can right click on a task and perform the same actions from the actions menu as well as some additional options. If the actions button is disabled with security the right click options will be disabled.

Initiate Call - Allows the user to use their SIP provider to make a call
Enter Call Result - Allows the user to add a call log to the Client. Users can also select one of the predefined options that are specified in Setup.
